Felix Baumgartner’s World Record Freefall Skydive

“I knew that on October 14th 2012 a brave man did the world’s highest ever skydive…but what I didn’t know was that he has become the first person to break the speed of sound without an aircraft. His approximate speed was 1,342.8 km/h (Mach 1.24). I have skydived once (from 14,000 ft) and I thought that was a rush and really cool – he went from 128,100 ft. I cannot fathom having a 10 minute free fall travelling at those speeds. Awesome stuff” – Ben
